I. Background
白細胞介素 5（IL5）是 Th2（2 型炎癥因子）細胞因子成員，主要由活化的 Th2、肥大細胞及嗜酸性粒細胞分泌，在嗜酸性粒細胞的生成、活化及生存調控中起核心作用。IL5 目前被認為是 Th2 通路的關鍵驅動因子之一，在自身免疫疾病中扮演重要角色。 IL-5 受體由特異性α鏈（IL-5Rα）和非特異性βc 鏈（與 IL-3、GM-CSF 受體共用）組成。當 IL-5 與 IL-5Rα相結合后，會結合βc 形成 IL-5/IL-5Rα/βc 復合物，激活胞內 JAK 激酶，進而激活轉錄激活因子 STAT1，3 和 5，使許多參與嗜酸性粒細胞增殖活化的基因的轉錄。JAK2 和β鏈結合的 JAK1 能同時激活 Raf-1 和 NF-kB 信號通路，影響嗜酸性粒細胞的凋亡過程。被 IL-5 激活的信號通路還包括 PI3K 和 MAPK 兩條信號通路，可介導嗜酸性粒細胞的招募、成熟、分化和增殖。

II. Description
